Super Bowl Odds: Baltimore Ravens

#4  – Baltimore Ravens – Kevin’s Super Bowl Percentage: 17%

Lamar Jackson is looking to do something that no other quarterback has done since Michael Vick and that is become the youngest quarterback to win a playoff game. Jackson just turned 22 years old and is already set to become the youngest player to start at quarterback in the post season, so why not add a win to that resume. The Ravens finished 10-6 and won six out of their last seven with Jackson as their starting quarterback.

Baltimore has a talented defense led by veterans Terrell Suggs, and Eric Weddle. They allow the second fewest points per game, and are top five in rushing yards and passing yards allowed in the regular season. Offensively I’m not sold on their pieces, but their rushing offense has been a whole different component since Jackson became the starter.

If Baltimore defeats the Chargers at home this Sunday, they will have to go to either Kansas City or New England, and their chances could increase depending on what road they have to take to get to Atlanta. At the end of the day I’m not sold on Lamar Jackson in the post season because I haven’t seen anything yet. Baltimore is one of the hottest teams in the National Football League so don’t sleep on them just yet.
