Super Bowl Odds: Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks have been there before, and Russell Wilson has had some success in the post season with Wilson as their starting quarterback. So what could be holding them back from going back to the Super Bowl for the third time with Russell Wilson. Well they have a tough draw to be able to get to the Georgia Dome.

The number five seed Seattle Seahawks finished with a 10-6 record, after starting off at 4-5 none the less. Seattle looked to be dead, but they finished winning six out of their last seven and included wins over Green Bay, Minnesota, and Kansas City. Also one big thing to look at with Seattle is that when the six times they lost in 2018 by no more than eight points in any game. So Russell Wilson can keep them in any game, but lets take a look quickly at their road to the Georgia Dome looks like.

Wild card weekend they have to go down to Jerry World and play the Dallas Cowboys who have a talented young defense. Then they would either have to go to Los Angeles to play the Rams, or they would have to go down to New Orleans to play the Saints. The road to the Georgia Dome contains three more than likely road playoffs games, which wouldn’t surprise me if they won all three road playoff games in order to make it to Super Bowl LIII.

Seattle is 8-4 in 12 playoff games that Russell Wilson has started in, and Wilson has lost to quarterbacks like Matt Ryan, Tom Brady, and Cam Newton who are all former MVP’s. The Seahawks have also won at least one playoff game in a post season that Wilson has played in. Look for Seattle’s young talented defense to help them win one playoff game, but then after that it’ll be a dog fight for them to move on after that.
