The Chicago Bears had their best season since 2010, which consequently is the last time the Bears made the post season. They also had their best record since 2006, which was the year they lost in the Super Bowl to the Peyton Manning led Colts. This Bears’ team has a top five defense, a second year quarterback that they traded up to get in the 2017 NFL Draft, and they have a very talented young head coach in 40 year old Matt Nagy who led the Bears to their first winning season in eight years.
Let us quickly talk about Chicago’s road to the Super Bowl. It starts off by hosting the defending Super Bowl Champion Eagles on wild card weekend. Then if they win they have to go to Los Angeles to play the Rams, which they beat earlier in the season. If they win in the divisional round, they will move onto the NFC Championship game which either would take on in New Orleans or at Soldier Field as the Bears host the Cowboys.

Mitchell Trubisky took a big step forward in his sophomore season, as he posted a 11-3 record in fourteen starts while tallying 3,223 passing yards to go along with 24 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He had a seven win increase from his rookie season, and has shown flashes of a talented quarterback in this league. Let us not forget about Trubisky’s weapons as he as Allen Robinson (former Pro Bowler), Trey Burton (Super Bowl Champion), Taylor Gabriel, Tarik Cohen (former Pro Bowler), Jordan Howard (former Pro Bowler), as some of his bigger names that he has. Chicago offense can be lethal with new head coach Matt Nagy, and has been slept on all season long.
One thing about the Bears that hasn’t been slept on is their talented defense. It all starts with their big acquistion and that was Khalil Mack, and the list of talent they have on defense goes on and on. Eddie Jackson, Prince Amukamara, Adrian Amos, Kyle Fuller which is a talented secondary and causes problems for opposing quarterbacks and receivers. They also have two talented young linebackers in rookie Roquan Smith, and Leonard Floyd who is also a former first round pick. The Bears defense is the real deal and we have seen it all season, and nobody should be sleeping on the Bears anymore because they are legit.
