Each week all the way up to the 2019 NBA Draft, I will be going over who I think is a lock to be a lottery pick, who’s stock I think is currently “on the bubble”, and a prospect who’s stock is on the rise. With that being said here are Chris’s lock, on the bubble, and on the rise prospects of the week.
Lock Of The Week: Zion Williamson (F) Duke

I think it is safe to say that I can put Zion down as a lock every week, but to make it more interesting this will be the only week I talk about Zion Williamson. He is a freak of nature, and is going to be a special player in the NBA. He has been an automatic lock before he even played a collegiate game. I am locking in that Williamson will be a top three pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, and whatever team drafts him on draft night will be very lucky to have this 6’6 280 pound power forward who will be able to bring people to whatever building he plays in during his NBA career.
On The Bubble: Bol Bol (C) Oregon

Now as a guy who wanted to see Bol Bol succeed in college, it is a tough pill to swallow to say that Bol Bol is offically done for the season. The 7’2 235 pound center is undergoing surgery on his ankle that will keep him sidelined for the remainder of his collegiate career. Bol Bol is a one and done player, but his stock is taking a big hit with the fact that he does not have a lot of collegiate games under his belt. He appeared in nine games in his freshman season while averaging 21 PPG to go along with 9.6 RPG while shooting 56 percent from the field and 52 percent from beyond the arc. His stock can’t really go up from here because he is hurt and doesn’t have any more time to prove anything until the combine which he might be able to take a part in before the Draft. Look for Bol Bol’s stock to keep going up and down every week, but as of right now he is officially “on the bubble”.
On The Rise: Romeo Langford (G) Indiana

Romeo Langford was poised as a lottery pick before he played a game in college, after a rough start and going down slowly on people’s draft board he is my player is who is on the rise this week. Langford played his first Big Ten Conference games this week and looked like a talented NBA prospect while doing so. He showed flashes of the great basketball prospect that he was in high school, and went from being a late first round pick to being “on the rise” to the lottery. Look to hear more from Langford as the rest of the season progresses, but he is moving up my draft board after two good solid games in his debut of playing against other Big Ten opponents.
