Super Bowl Odds: Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams played well enough all season that they not only finished with a 13-3 record, they also won their division and earned the number two seed in the NFC. Their offense can be very lethaland it is led by Todd Gurley, and this team will go as far as Gurley allows them to go. Jared Goff is good don’t get me wrong, but he has been to inconsistent at times. The Rams also have talent at receiver in Brandin Cooks, Robert Woods, and others. The Rams’ offense has struggled at times, and Gurley has been so solid for them that they have to rely on him heavy at times, but they are going to need everybody to pull their workload in order for them to head on down to the Georgia Dome.

Meanwhile the Rams defense, has a lot of studs on it and they are ready to be able to show their talent in the post season. They did not look good at times in the regular season, but they do have the big name such as Aaron Donald, Aqib Talib, Marcus Peters, and company which have playoff experience which is huge for the Rams this post season. Los Angeles’ defense needs to show up, they need to show everybody that they are the defense that was very hyped at the beginning of the season, and that they still are a force to be reckoned with.

There is one and only one thing stopping the Rams and that is their inconsistencies both offensively and defensively. If they can cut their inconsistencies in at least half they have a good shot of going to the Super Bowl.  A quick peek of their road to the Georgia Dome includes the divisional round where they host the Dallas Cowboys, who haven’t won a road playoff game in over twenty years, then they either host the Philadelphia Eagles (the reigning Super Bowl Champions), or they go to New Orleans to play the Saints in the NFC Championship Game. The Rams have been one of the favorites in the NFC all season long, but don’t be surprised if they don’t end up in Super Bowl LIII.
