Divisional Round Picks

The NFL playoffs are officially upon us! We at “From The Sidelines” are making our picks for who will move on to the Conference Championships! Here are our picks:

#1 Kansas City Chiefs vs #6 Indianapolis Colts

Kansas City 46 Indianapolis 42 (Kevin)

The shootout game. I bought into the Chiefs so hard this postseason so I have to stick to my guns here. Mahomes will torch the Colts with Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce each snagging two TD’s apiece.

Indianapolis 30 Kansas City 27 (Chris)

This game could end up being a shootout just like Kevin said, but I think that this potential has to be a good divisional round game. Patrick Mahomes vs Andrew Luck will live up to the hype, but the veteran Luck will be the one that does just a little bit more to give Indianapolis the win to go to the AFC Championship game.

#2 New England Patriots vs #5 Los Angeles Chargers

New England 27 Los Angeles 24 (Kevin)

The Chargers are better on both sides of the ball. The Chargers are the better team. But it’s the damn New England Patriots in the playoffs. Something crazy will happen that gives the team a victory at Gillette. Maybe it’s a double doink. Maybe it’s a circus catch. I don’t know what it’ll be but the Patriots somehow win this game.

Los Angeles 24 New England 20 (Chris)

I said before Wild Card Weekend that I think the winner of the Chargers and Ravens game will make it to the AFC Championship Game. New England has been too inconsistent all season, and even in the cold weather I am taking the Chargers and Philip Rivers even though he has never beaten Tom Brady in his career.

#1 New Orleans Saints vs #6 Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia 33 New Orleans 27 (Kevin)

I’m done picking against the Eagles. They are under some magic spell right now and they’re going to win the Super Bowl again. Excuse me while I go cry in the shower thinking about them winning again.

New Orleans 38 Philadelphia 17 (Chris)

All week all I heard is that you are crazy for picking against Playoff Nick Foles, but people are underestimating how good not only this New Orleans team is, but how damn good Drew Brees is. I am taking the house on Drew Brees, because this team reminds me a lot of the Saints team that won the Super Bowl XLIV.

#2 Los Angeles Rams vs #4 Dallas Cowboys

Los Angeles 49 Dallas 20 (Kevin)

I need the Rams offense to go nuts because I have Jared Goff on my playoff fantasy team. Need him to throw for 400 yards and 5 TD’s. Also, they’re better than the Cowboys and the Boys wild ride ends this weekend.

Los Angeles 31 Dallas 17 (Chris)

The Cowboys playoff ride ends, because they can’t find a way to win a road playoff game and haven’t won a playoff game on the road in 23 years. Moving forward this is a big game for young quarterback Jared Goff, who needs to perform big time to give the Rams a legitimate chance to make it to the Super Bowl. This is the end of the happy times for the Cowboys fans.
